She began acting in a local theatre in Arizona, and eventually moved to Los Angeles with her family, where she attended Lyc�e Fran�ais de Los Angeles - a bilingual school where she learnt to speak French.

Mika has recieved four Young Artist Award nominations, and was featured in American Idol Winner David Cook's music video "Light On".
